How to Fundraise
The Kiltwalk is the simplest way to raise funds for the charity or cause that matters to you.
Here are some tips to get your online fundraising started.
The Kiltwalk is partnered with EveryDay Hero who auto-generate a fundraising page via the Kiltwalk registration page. Please note, if you choose to fundraise on a different online platform, please ensure that all funds come via the Kiltwalk in order to receive your 50% top up.
Access your online fundraising page on EveryDay Hero
If you have registered for a Kiltwalk event, you will have received a link to your personal online fundraising page. Follow the EveryDayHero link in your email inbox to get started. Can’t find your link? Contactus@thekiltwalk.co.uk
Personalise your online fundraising page
Update the photo and update your bio. Your donors are more likely to sponsor you if they see that they are on the right page. Make sure you explain why you are taking part and which charity you are fundraising for.
According to the online fundraising experts, donors are more likely to donate what the person before them donated. Go ahead and get a donation on your page to get the ball rolling.
Make sure you spread your online fundraising page link on your social media pages. Remember you are doing a great thing for your chosen cause so spread the word. Leave it for a few weeks between reposting.
Although online is the quickest and most effective method of fundraising, we recognise that online fundraising isn’t always suitable. If you are looking to collect sponsorship offline, you must use the Kiltwalk Sponsorship form.

Ask your employer
Many employers run schemes that will boost your charitable funding and sometimes even match what you have raised. Make sure to ask them before you start fundraising to ensure that are eligible.
