RNLI - The Royal National Lifeboat Institution
Taking over Pit Stop 6 on August 21
Find Out More
For nearly 200 years, powered primarily by kind donations, the RNLI have saved lives at sea.
A charity founded upon and driven by their values of selflessness, courage, dependability and trustworthiness, with volunteers at their heart. Volunteers make up 95% of the RNLI - ordinary people doing extraordinary things - supported by expert staff, all working together to help communities at home and abroad save lives.
Your support and fundraising through the Kiltwalk can make a difference and save lives at sea:
- £25 can pay for a pair of seagoing gloves to protect a crew member’s hands in all weathers, keeping them warm and dry, and providing a sure grip when handling the lifeboat and rescue equipment.
- £100 can buy a pair of binoculars to keep people safe on the beach.
- £336 can buy a lifejacket to keep our crew safe and afloat should they enter the water
The team from RNLI will see you at Pit Stop 6 - Broughty Ferry on August 21 and we know they will do a brilliant job helping our Kiltwalkers make it through the final stretch.
