Kiltwalk Glasgow has a new End Site

This year, the Kiltwalk End Site is due to essential safety construction works on the Lomond Bridge in Balloch.

New Kiltwalk Village End Site

The new site at Argyle Park (Alexandria) is bigger to accommodate the growing numbers of Kiltwalk heroes in what is set to be the world’s biggest ever Kiltwalk! And the really good news is that the walking distance is now a tiny bit shorter, 22 miles!

Why the change?

• Essential major safety works on the Lomond Bridge and the A811 in Balloch (started 17th Feb for 38 weeks)
• These major works impact both our walking route and traffic trying to get in and out of Balloch and would compromise public safety
• This decision was made by the Kiltwalk in conjunction with West Dunbartonshire Council and Police Scotland

The Kiltwalk Village 2020 – Argyle Park in Alexandria

The new Kiltwalk Village is based at Argyle Park (Alexandria) located only 0.5miles from Moss O’Balloch Park. New for 2020, we now have a regular shuttle bus service running from Argyle Park to Balloch station.

Our new end site will bring the usual Kiltwalk magic where our walkers will be able to recuperate and enjoy the atmosphere.
