Kiltwalk Bus Information

We have many transport options available to get you to your Mighty Stride, Big Stroll or Wee Wander start lines and back again. Read through your options below:

EDINBURGH MIGHTY STRIDE MORNING BUS (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

Leaving from Scottish Gas Murrayfield (EH12 5PJ) where there is plenty of parking available and taking you to the Mighty Stride start at Holyrood Park (EH8 8BZ).

Available departure times: 8:15am SOLD OUT / 9:15am SOLD OUT

EDINBURGH BIG STROLL STRIDE MORNING BUS (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

Leaving from Scottish Gas Murrayfield (EH12 5PJ) where there is plenty of parking available and taking you to the Big Stroll start at Fisherrow Links (EH21 6AF).

Available departure times: 7:15am / 8:30am SOLD OUT

EDINBURGH WEE WANDER MORNING BUS (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

Leaving from Scottish Gas Murrayfield (EH12 5PJ) where there is plenty of parking available and taking you to the Wee Wander start at Victoria Park.

Available departure times: 8:45am / 9:45am SOLD OUT

RETURN KILTWALK BUSES (MUST BE BOOKED)

Tickets cost £7.50 per person

There is designated parking close to both the Big Stroll and Wee Wander start sites. These are located at:

Big Stroll Parking - Musselburgh Racecourse in Car Park 1 or Car Park 2 (Balcarres Road, Musselburgh EH21 7SG)
Wee Wander Parking - Forth Ports, 101 Ocean Drive Leith, EH6 6JJ

Afternoon/Evening buses will operate between Scottish Gas Murrayfield and the designated Kiltwalk car parks listed above.

Pick up location - Follow signs for Kiltwalk buses

Departure times - 3:00pm / 5:00pm / 7:00pm

Before you book a timeslot, please think carefully about how long it will take to complete your challenge and enjoy all the fun the Kiltwalk Village has to offer.

FREE EDINBURGH WEE WANDER SHUTTLE BUS (No charge)

Parking in and around Victoria Park is extremely limited so Kiltwalk has arranged a free-to-use shuttle service that will operate between Forth Ports, Leith and Victoria Park where the Wee Wander starts.

This allows Wee Wander participants to park free of charge at Forth Ports, 101 Ocean Drive Leith, EH6 6JJ and use the free shuttle service to get to the Wee Wander start line at Victoria Park, 141 Newhaven Rd, Edinburgh EH6 4NG.

Shuttle bus times:
Running from 09:00am to 11:00am
