Some final important notes ahead of Sunday's Glasgow Kiltwalk

It's going to be a big one Glasgow!

Your safety is paramount so please read through a few final important pointers from us to help make Glasgow Kiltwalk an incredible day for you, your team, and the Charity you're supporting!

Arrive at your allocated start time

It’s vital that you start your walk at your allocated start time, no earlier or later. The route will be very busy on Sunday and we have carefully considered all timeslot capacities to ensure everyone stays safe. If you don’t observe your allocated start time, you could put yourself and others at risk. We want all Kiltwalkers to have a fantastic and safe Kiltwalk, so please stick to the plan!

Got your walker pack? You’re good to go!

If you've received your walker pack by post, you don’t need to visit our Info Point. Simply pop on your lanyard & ID pass and approach the start line at your allocated time. The info point is only for those without their walker pack or anyone with other queries regarding their walk.

We love dogs at Kiltwalk but short leashes are vital

Kiltwalk allows dogs to come along for the walk but it is vital that dogs remain on a short leash for the duration of your Kiltwalk – including your time in the Kiltwalk Village in Moss O’Balloch Park. Due to the high number of people taking part, dogs off the leash are unsafe for Kiltwalkers and your dog. Please bring bags and remember to clean up after your four-legged friends.

No alcohol or drugs on the route

Alcohol or drugs are not permitted at any point along the route. Any walkers under the influence will be asked to leave the event.

Keep in touch with your spectators at the finish line

Please keep in touch with anyone coming to watch you cross the finish line and help them time your arrival. Our end site will be very busy so please help us by minimising the wait time for your spectators.

Use public transport or get dropped off/picked up

If you haven’t booked the Kiltwalk bus, please make use of public transport or get dropped off/picked up from the event. Parking is limited along the route but especially at our end site in Moss O’Balloch Park. The closest parking is at Loch Lomond Shores.

Use our FREE Kiltwalk shuttle bus

Remember you can use our FREE shuttle bus from our end site to Loch Lomond Shores which will be running on a continuous loop throughout Sunday. This is the fastest and easiest location to get picked up from our finish line.

Red Hot Chilli Piper performances

We can’t wait to welcome back the amazing Red Hot Chilli Pipers to Glasgow Kiltwalk! They will be playing throughout the day within the large Kiltwalk Marquee in Moss O’Balloch Park.

HAVE AN AMAZING DAY GLASGOW!

ALL FUNDRAISING GOES TO THE CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE
