“Cut Aboot In A Kilt” And Do Good

Superstar comedian Kevin Bridges is urging the people of Scotland to sign-up for Kiltwalk 2020

In a video recorded on his mobile phone, the Scots funnyman, who has 1.3 million followers on Twitter, says he’s “cutting aboot” his Glasgow home, using his position as “a social media influencer” to convince fans to do a good deed.

Kevin added: “The Kiltwalk is back for 2020… get on a kilt, go for a walk and raise money for a cause that you feel strongly about… And the best bit is that Sir Tom Hunter, the man whose generosity knows no bounds, will top up your total fundraised by 50%!

“Get your kilt, go for a walk, get some endorphins, serotonin and vitamin D… all in the name of a good cause!”

Chief Executive of Kiltwalk, Paul Cooney, said: “Kevin is one of the UK’s biggest stars, and we are incredibly grateful that he’s supporting the Kiltwalk again. Over 1300 charities benefited from the Kiltwalk in 2019, and Sir Tom’s 50% top-up on all fundraising is going to ensure that we help more charities than ever before this year.

“Please take Kevin’s advice – get your kilt on – or a bit of tartan – and sign up for one of our four walks this year.”

Last year’s Kiltwalk saw 25,000 walkers raise an incredible £5 million, with an extra £2 million raised through the 40% top-up from The Hunter Foundation. That meant a grand total of £7 million raised for 1,302 charities across the country.

Get involved and sign up for any of this year’s events.

ALL FUNDRAISING GOES TO THE CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE
